We start this tours from Marrakech, from your hotel in morning direction Essaouira located on the Atlantique Ocean, across the Argan forest.Essaouira (in Berber:Tassourte:well guarded) is a small city with the old medina and a beautiful beach, about 70000 inhabitants, its medina is inscribed on the world heritage liste of UNESCO.After lunch we will visit the city by foot.night in hotel.
After breakfast,and through a beautiful landscape of mountain and Argan forest,where you can take beautiful pictures of goats at the top of the argan ,we will reach the beautiful wild Agadir beach,opportunity of walk in Agadir beach.After lunch,we reach and visit the Taroudant city.
We leave Taroudant, direction the south through the Argan forest,Only grows in Morocco ,and Talouin Safran area. We will reach and visit Ouarzazate city, famous by Larger studios, called holyoud of Africa due the number of movies realised there, such as Lawrence of Arabia (1962), The Mummy (1999), Gladiator (2000) Kingdom of Heaven (2005),and the kasbah of Taourirt, which was the casbah of the former caïd and later owned by Thami El Glaoui.
We start direction to Skoura palm grove, where we will leave the main road, to visit one of the beautiful Kasbah in the South ( Amridil Kasbah),and many local Kasbah inside the palm grove. Afterward, We continue to reach Rose valley , famous by its Roses festival in the end of spring. Then we will take off-road to reach Boutaghrar valley, inside a very spectacular and colourful mountain, where a many nomads living in caves( possibility to visit them). Lunch in in Boutaghrar. Afternoon, visit of the beautiful valley, and gorges Dedes. Night in Tenghire.
After delicious breakfast, direction to Toudra Gorges, with opportunity of walking inside the beautiful Toudra valley. after that, We follow the road to visit Ksar Khorbat and the Berber Museum to get more informations about local life. Lunch there. Afterward, we will reach the highest dunes of Morocco going through Erfoud city and many ksours (old villages) . A camel will bring you to top of dunes for a amazing sunset in desert. Later return by camel to your camp. Dinner, stars, music around fire, night in Berber tent, in the foot of Erg Chebbi.
We leave the desert along the black and old mountain of Saghro, Anif, Tazzarine where the babel film has been realized, to end up just beside the largest Draa Valley, in Agdz inside of the Draa palm grove. we will follow the old road of the caravanes, to reach the Ksar Tamnougalt from the 16 century, used by people before as a fortress for protection and defend , walking to visit this wonderful place in afternoon. night in Agdz.
After breakfast. We will cross the changeable landscape of Anti Atlas to reach Ouarzazate and to arrive early and visit in Ait Benhaddou, the most beautiful ksar of Southern Morocco, registered by the UNESCO international human patrimonial , where many films are produced as Gladiator. We will continue by Salt road, where Caravans brought silver, slaves and Soft goods to change it with salt in mine , to reach the beautiful Telouet Kasbah through the Berber villages and very nice Ounila valley. Visit the Kasbah restored and decorated for 3 years and more then 300 worker in the era of pasha Glaoui . After lunch, back to Marrakesh via Tizi n’tichka.End of our grand tours in morocco.
